One of the biggest strengths of the X3 is its revised engine. The twin-power 2.0 litreTurbo diesel engine improves torque development and increases performance, while substantially reducing fuel consumption and emission values. The new engine produces 190bhp, considerably more than the 177bhp of the previous generation. The driver now gets the same driving program selection like the other BMWs, so he can choose between ECO PRO, Comfort and Sport modes. The additional features include Brake Energy Regeneration and an Auto Start-Stop mode.
